Multipurpose mounting cables for industrial data transfer nets СОББИТ-КВ, СОББИТ-КВК manufactured acc. to ТУ 3581-004-76960731-2006
The cables СОББИТ-КВ (un-armoured) and СОББИТ-КВК (armoured) acc. to ТУ 3581-004-76960731-2006, are applied for connection of sensors with frequency modulated digital signal via HART, RS 485, RS 482, RS 422 or other interfaces requiring a twisted pair as a means of data transfer. The cable СОББИТ-КВ, СОББИТ-КВК design is protected by the patent of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property, Patents and Trademarks number 57960, the name brands are protected by trademark number 521,759 of the Federal Service.
Reasoning of these cables application:
- The introduction of the GOST R IEC 60079-14-2013 "Explosive atmospheres. Part 14: Design, selection of electrical installation ". According to this requirements, cables for explosive media must be of a round cross section and have got extruded non-hygroscopic substrate;
- A large number of currently available cables are manufactured by the out-of-date technical documentation and do not meet modern requirements;
- The appearance of new core shell materials and cable insulation;
- The introduction of the GOST R 53315-2009 "Cable goods. Fire safety requirements" and "Technical Regulations on fire safety requirements" № 123-F3, which set out the requirements for the use of cables based on their type, as well as requirements for the labeling of cable products.
Design features:
- Stranded conductor increases the reliability of mounting cable (cable is resistant to bending, even at extremely low temperatures);
- Moisture blocking technology (applied water blocking tape) to prevent longitudinal propagation of moisture in the event of damage to the outer shell;
- Shielded conductors (pairs, triples, fours) meet modern requirements for protection against electromagnetic interference;
- Cable type options.
Cables are designed for devices operating at nominal AC voltage up to 500 V, frequency up to 400 Hz or DC voltage up to 750 V, available in options as "B", and ""ХЛ and are designed for their use at ambient temperatures from minus 60ºC to plus 70ºC, the cables sheathed with the thermoplastic elastomer can be used at temperatures up to + 125 °C.
Cables are laid indoor and outdoor in n cable channels, tunnels, in the open ground, in the trenches, including areas exposed to stray currents, as well as in explosion hazardous areas Class B-1a in the absence of mechanical damage risk.
Design
CONDUCTING CORE - copper wires, tinned with tin or tin-lead solder, flexibility class - 3 (on request; class flexibility - 4, as well as the manufacturing of single-wire cable cores);
CORE INSULATION - flexible PVC or low flammability PVC compounds for нг(A)-LS cables, or halogen free polymer composition for нг(A)-HF cables or cross-linked polyolefin or thermoplastic elastomer. On top of conducting cores of fire-resistant cables two mica tapes winding is applied.
STRANDING - insulated conductors differ from each other in color, are twisted in a pair (triple, quadruple) with a lay of not more than 13d, where d - diameter of a pairs (triples, fours) by twisting;
SHIELDING - made shielded core of the cores or core of the unshielded pairs (triples, fours) or each pair (triple, quadruple). Shielding is carried out either with copper wire (tinned or un-tinned) or with AlumoFlex.
STRANDING The CORE - insulated conductors, shielded or unshielded pairs (triples, quadruples) are stranded in a cable core;
MOISTURE PROOF - provided by tape of the water blocking material over the entire length of the cable, that is laid over stranded cable core, a winding with overlapping;
WINDING – PET-E film.
ARMOUR (only for СОББИТ-КВК) - galvanized steel wires.
JACKET - superimposed over the common shield or wound core or PVC armor or low flammability PVC or fire resistant PVC or a halogen free polymer composition. In the ХЛ modification is used increased frost resistance material, in M modification – the material resistant to oil and petrol, in УФ modification - UV – resistant material. In order to get a round shape to a cable before applying a jacket, extruded non hygroscopic separation layer is the superimposed.
Operating temperature range from - 60 ° C to + 125 ° C.
Moisture resistant at the relative humidity up to 98% at temperatures up to 35 ° C.
Tensile strength of the jacket and protective hose is not less than 9.8 MPa (100 kgf / cm).
Bending radius (measured in cable diameter D) for HF - 4D, for the ICC - 5D.
Service life of cables is at least 30 years, provided that the requirements for transportation, storage and cable laying are obeyed.
The service life is calculated from the date of cable manufacture. The actual cable service life is not limited to this period, hence determined by the cable technical condition. Cable marking complies with GOST 18690.

- Cables should stand for 5 minutes, the test voltage of 2000V AC 50Hz applied between the conductors and shield.
- Operating capacity at a frequency of (1,0±0,1) kHz, referred to 1 km length, not more, nF:
- — between two close unshielded conductors (for 0,12-0,75mm²) — 140;
- — between two close unshielded conductors (for 1,0 — 6mm²) — 180;
- — between conductor and shield — 300.
- The inductance of the cable at a frequency of (1,0 ± 0,1) kHz, referred to 1 km length and temperature of 20 ° C, no more than 0.9 mHz.
